Professional Goals:

My professional goal is to create the most efficient CNC code to reduce cycle time and improve quality. Automating the CAM process is a key tool asset that has enabled me to improve all sheet metal equipment and efficiency.

CNC Programming Supervisor:
Program and maintain current file revisions of all CNC equipment for an ISO-9000 certified sheet metal fabrication and paint facility. Manage a team of four, responsible for machine programs, prototype builds and supply SAP routers, setup and drawing information via network. CNC Programmer / Process Engineer: Programmed multiple 4th axis horizontal and vertical mills, lathe, wire EDM and laser using SmartCAM Software. Responsibilities included making code generators and macros to define custom machine code. Implemented new process to reduce setup and run time. Knowledge of AutoCAD and transfer of DXF and IGES files.

Toolmaker: Made own setups and produced small quantities of prototype parts using Bridgeport's, lathes and grinders while holding close tolerances. Designed and built fixtures and tooling for mass part production. Processed and prepared parts for a controlled bonding process.

Toolmaker: Machined machine tools, fixtures and special machines to close tolerances using precision gauging equipment and basic machine equipment. Performed a variety of miscellaneous duties as directed for efficient and timely operations.

Model Maker/Toolmaker: Fabricated a wide variety of prototype and production parts. Worked with engineering on problem solving and changes. Machined materials which require greater knowledge of machine capabilities. Built soft and hard form tools. Ran all basic machine equipment including Tree CNC two and three axis mills.
